National promotion launches with limited-edition Cookie Cake design, festive trick-or-treat bags and exclusive coupon

ATLANTA - October 30, 2009 - Great American Cookies®, innovators of the original Cookie Cake, announced today that the company has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to promote the November 2009 Blu-ray and DVD release of "Aliens in the Attic." The multifaceted promotion will include a limited-edition Cookie Cake, an exclusive coupon offer, and more. The promotion is supported by NexCen Franchise Management, Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands, Inc.

The promotion kicks off Oct. 31 (Halloween) when Great American Cookies stores across the country will distribute trick-or-treat bags featuring artwork from the movie to customers. Beginning Nov. 3, customers visiting select Great American Cookies stores will also receive a coupon for up to $5 off the purchase of "Aliens in the Attic" at f.y.e. and Suncoast store locations nationwide. The coupon will be available until the end of the promotion, Nov. 30, or while supplies last.

Great American Cookies also has created a limited-edition version of their signature Cookie Cake featuring the "Aliens in the Attic" logo. The Cookie Cake will be available during the promotional period and will be on display at participating Great American Cookies stores. The promotion will be supported by a new "Aliens in the Attic" page at www.greatamericancookies.com, which will contain all of the details of the promotion, including a printable coupon, as well as the trailer for "Aliens in the Attic" and a link to the movie's Web site.
